When the travel bug bites...

Matt and Karen Smith became empty nesters 16 years ago after their youngest son went off to college. The Seattle-based couple loved to vacation in Europe whenever they could, but over the last couple of years, they decided to explore something a little closer to home: every single US National Park in the country. 

✈️ The couple started their journey two years ago, traveling to the parks closest to Seattle. Now, they've officially crossed all 63 official "National Parks" off their list, completing a journey they say has given them a newfound appreciation for America.
