Trudy Handleman recently turned 102 years old.
And, if that wasn't impressive enough, the Iowa woman spent her big day collecting and donating 400+ items to the local food pantry for families in need.
It takes a village... When Trudy began asking for donations from her local community, she was shocked at the waves of support that flooded in.
💬 What she's saying: "No matter how large or how small the project, if you put your heart into it and you really care, you get so many followers, friends, and those are long away and they all want to join you," the centenarian shared. "It’s more fun to give than to receive. That’s an old cliché, and, and that sounds a little corny, but you know it’s true."
