Everybody needs a hero

This week, CNN announced its 2024 Hero of the Year: Stephen Knight, whose nonprofit saves lives by providing foster care for dogs while their owners focus on addiction recovery.

🐾🏆 Stephen's nonprofit, Dogs Matter, has helped recovering addicts and their pups since 2015, after Stephen himself went through recovery and a friend took in his dog while he was in rehab.

• “This means everything," Stephen shared. "I represent so much here. I represent the recovery community. The dog rescue community… This is going to be able to take us to the next level.”
