A decade ago, Bruce and Shawn Carpenter of Brown County, Indiana, planted 5,000 tiny pines and firs to grow into Christmas trees.
🎄 Now the couple is finally ready to open their Christmas tree farm and carry out their main goal: funding their grandkids' college education.
- “It was an investment to help our grandkids for college,” Shawn Carpenter told the Herald Times. “One that’s taken awhile.”
