In your opinion, should TikTok be banned from every device in the US?

👍 Yes (46%) – "America, right now, is the most hated country in the world. China and Russia have been conspiring against America since the end of WWII. The easiest way to protect the country is to protect its citizenry. When people do not realize the dangers it must be brought to them in terms they understand. There are too many politicians who don't understand. How do we get the average person to see the dangers? Until we can make the most wise decisions for our future, the government that is paid by us should protect us. Selling a company is easy and if they really wanted our business, selling would be a priority for future endeavors."

👎 No (35%) – "Are they going to ban other Chinese owned apps? What about apps from other countries? If not, TikTok ‘s point is valid. It’s a slippery slope that could easily lead to other violations to consumers (not to mention retaliation towards American businesses overseas)."

• "I watch TikTok and am of the same beliefs as most creators on this topic. Our government is seeking to ban what they cannot control. So many other apps share our information without us knowing and it’s never been a problem for the government before. This ban is not in Americans’ interest. It’s in the government’s. During the "pandemic," the gov't was able to put its message across all the social media channels and mute any dissenting opinions. Why wouldn't they try to ban or force the sale of TikTok to an American company that can be influenced the same way?"
