If the November election was held today, which candidate would you vote for?

Former President Trump (26%) – "Without question, Trump more thoroughly understands the issues related to economics, immigration and world politics. While he may not always express his opinions eloquently, the understanding is clear. Ms. Harris understands none of it. She hasn’t accomplished much during her nearly four years in office, though she’s been given full authority."

  • "It is quite clear that the Harris plan is to be elected by not having any new ideas or addressing the root cause of the issues we face. We need change in government, reduced spending on social programs, more rule by law (along with increased individual freedoms - undoing the bureaucratic state), and term limits on all branches of government."

"Apart from the policy suggestions she has copied from Donald Trump's campaign (no taxed on tips, increasing the child tax credit), Kamala Harris' economic proposals are an extension of Joe Biden's inflationary policies with a dash of old communist ideas. Price controls on food items? It's a low margin business and if a supplier can't even earn that, they are not going to provide those items at all. See the former iron curtain and today's Venezuela as examples. At the same time she wants to raise corporate taxes. Does she really think that corporations are just going to eat the additional cost? No, they'll pass it on to the consumer, leading to more elevated prices. Donald Trump has boosted the economy before and he can do it again."

Vice President Harris (42%) – "Mr Trump is unfit for and simply beneath the dignity of the office. He is too selfish and self-serving/self-absorbed to be a good leader. While Ms Harris is definitely a flawed human being, I do not doubt her humanity or ability to lead with integrity and empathy."

  • "I am excited for the positivity and compassion she and Tim Walz would bring to the presidency. I agree with her on many of the important stances she takes on issues, especially on abortion, women’s rights, climate change and her support of NATO. I fear what another 4-yr term of Trump would do to this country."

"On a macro scale, the NATO issue has all of a sudden become my single issue. I disagree with Harris to a minor or major degree elsewhere, but a total decoupling from NATO and the threat therein is enough to overcome that. Here's the issue: we, America, have been a global power for quite some time because we provide security. That security, while enabling our allies and those aligned with our interests, benefits us in ways both subtle and profound. To suddenly create a power vacuum when Russia is more aggressive than ever, when China is striving to become - and by most metrics has become - a regional power in direct competition with our interests, when nuclear powers the world over are entering the military arena? That will destablize the world order in a way I don't care to experience. So yes, I will vote democrat for the first time in my life."

  • "Kamala Harris is the only candidate committed to maintaining our democracy and rule of law. She has policy proposals to improve the economy, and codify reproductive rights. She has a positive message and is intelligent, competent, energetic and has extremely impressive experience."

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (11%) – "Refreshingly different. His statements make sense and from experience. His vax statements should compel people to listen and dig deeper into big pharma."

Another third-party candidate (6%) – "I'm really not enamored with the choice between Harris, Trump, or RFK. I will most likely be voting for Jill Stein of the Green Party."

Not planning to vote/Too young to vote (7%) – "I think it's interesting that the two major candidates are a current VP and a former president. I definitely think that experience is important, but it's gotten to the point that it's just cronyism. I'd like new names & new faces. I'd like for parties to put forth their best candidate, not just a name they think people will recognize."

Unsure/other (8%) – "Harris seems even worse than Biden with woke policies and no respect for law, has zero experience, was not voted in democratically to be a candidate, and is just not being honest about her record. Trump is touting some good policies, but still, he is not respectful, not dignified, and does not represent me. His words and demeanor are against the constitution and he seems to be very selfish in the way he portrays himself."
