Despite the storm, Ashanti, who chose to attend class that day, is now the valedictorian of Nellie A. Thornton High School’s class of 2020, having graduated with perfect attendance. The accomplished academic, who did not even miss a day of preschool, will attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on a four-year scholarship. | |
