✨ This Week's Mantra
|
My happiness is my choice. It is a conscious choice- that I make at this moment, to embrace this life entirely.
What mantras can do for you… there has been a fair amount of neuroscience research on the effects of daily mantra and/or affirmation practices. Whether spoken aloud or meditated on throughout the day, these short, simple phrases can greatly affect your subconscious.
Give it a try – we’ll feature a new mantra in each newsletter to repeat throughout your week.

👏 The Sweet Spotlight
Honoring Heather
|

In 2017, Diana Donnarumme Kreher feared for her life. She was losing function of her entire intestinal tract and in desperate need of a transplant – but with thousands in line ahead of her on the list, hope was looking dim.
Then, a miracle came her way. A female donor right around her age emerged, and she turned out to be a perfect match for both organs Diana needed – though a miracle for one can be an indescribable tragedy to another.
-
Heather Donnelly passed away in a car accident just days before her wedding. A registered organ donor, she was able to save eight lives after her passing.
Diana was one of those eight people saved, and about a year later, she reached out to Heather’s father Daniel in hopes of extending her condolences and telling him just how grateful she was.
👋 Nice To Meet You… Not only did Diana learn more about Heather on that call, but she made a friend in Daniel for life.
-
Heartbroken to hear that she had passed so close to her wedding day, Diana suddenly got an idea: she would ask Daniel to be a part of her wedding.
👰 Here Comes The Bride… When the day finally came, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Daniel had the honor of walking Diana halfway down the aisle, after which he handed her off to her actual father to finish the trip.
-
Diana honored Heather’s memory throughout the day in other ways as well, including a small table with pictures of Heather on display at the reception.
-
“Every day, I live my life to try to honor this amazing person who saved my life,” the new wife shared,
And what did Daniel think about the invitation? He was absolutely honored.
-
“I had a great time at the wedding,” he said. “You guys are as loving as my daughter was — she’d be very proud of you two... I know she’s looking down right now, she’s very happy... I was very honored.”

They shared on their GoFundMe Page: “Help more youth see themselves represented on screen as strong, worthy, and as the superheroes that they are!”
