The 81-year-old Bulger, one of the FBI’s “10 Most Wanted” fugitives, carries a $2 million reward for information leading to his capture, the largest amount ever offered for a domestic fugitive.
• D) Argentinian soccer star Diego Maradona scores his infamous “Hand of God” goal in a World Cup quarterfinal game against England. The illegal goal—where the ball strikes Maradona’s hand, but a referee mistakenly thinks it hit his head—helps Argentina win the match, and eventually their second World Cup title.
