Blissful Bedrooms

For most people, their bedroom is a site of refuge, a place to feel at peace and 100% themselves. 

Blissful Bedrooms, a company founded by Martha Gold-Dvoryadkin and her husband, has made it their mission to transform bland bedrooms into sanctuaries for young people with extreme physical disabilities and low income. 

• Creating everything from a butterfly palace to a Yankees shrine, the team has transformed almost 20 rooms for disabled children in the New York area. 

"Every makeover is a miracle," Martha shared on Facebook. "We let them design their dream room. Then we become the instruments who bring that dream to life."
