🐶 Furry Friends Friday: Henry the Hero

One chilly December night this past year, Kelly Dowling put her baby girl to sleep early. She hoped a good night's rest would help kick her daughter's cold.

After the baby was comfortably in bed, Henry, the family's Boston Terrier, forced his way into the nursery – not once, not twice, but five times – ignoring his owner's insistent "no's" to stay out of the room.

  • The dog finally woke the baby and Kelly shared, "When she started crying, I knew there was something wrong... she was struggling to get air."
  • With mucus filling her lungs, Kelly quickly rushed her daughter to the hospital where she made a full recovery.

💬❤️ What she's saying: "I don't know what would have happened if [Henry] hadn't woken her... We don't deserve dogs!"
