Aspiring medical student Nadia Popovici was enjoying a Vancouver Canucks game when she couldn't help but notice a small growth on the assistant equipment manager's neck.

Unsure of how to communicate with a stranger through the thick sheet of glass separating them, she quickly pulled out her phone to type out a message.

  • "The mole on the back of your neck is possibly cancerous," she typed. "Please go see a doctor!" Nadia held her phone up to the glass.

🤯 Whoa... Brian Hamilton read the message and was shocked when Nadia's diagnosis turned out to be accurate; the cancerous growth was removed soon after.

  • "She extended my life... she saved my life," he shared. Months later, Brian was finally able to find Nadia and thank her in person.

+To top it off: Both teams from that day's game awarded her $10,000 in scholarships to use toward medical school.
