New Hampshire resident Cam Laundry is counting his lucky stars after his dog Tinsley saved him and a friend from the bitter cold after his truck rolled off the freeway.
🐕 'Help' is a four-legged word... Stuck upside down with hypothermia already setting in, Tinsley wiggled her way out of the totaled truck and ran along the side of the busy highway until she found police cars. She guided the officers back to the crash site, and the men were quickly rescued and brought to the hospital. No major injuries were sustained.
According to Cam, Tinsley has a well-earned reward for her bravery on the way – a tasty venison burger and all the back scratches one pup could want. 🥰
Four-year-old Nico Lavallée loves his stuffed deer named Rudolf. Rarely letting the stuffie out of his sight, Nico was understandably distraught when, on a family walk along the Rideau Canal, his younger brother impulsively grabbed the deer and tossed him into the frozen water below. Unable to reach the surface below them, the boys' mom, Brenda, heartbrokenly told Nico that Rudolf may be stuck for good.
An unexpectedly harsh winter storm wrecked through the East Coast last week, stranding hundreds of cars on an icy highway for more than 24 hours. Thanks to a clever couple's quick thinking, one bakery truck was able to save the day.
