Furry Friends Friday: Kefir, King of Cats

Wen Yulia Minina adopted a seemingly average-sized kitten almost two years ago, she had no idea she was bringing home a world record holder.
Her sweet boy Kefir already weighs in at a whopping 28 pounds – 20 pounds more than the average house cat – and he's still not done growing.
- Kefir is a Maine Coon and will continue to get bigger until around four years old.
🐱 As sweet as they come... Though his appearance may be intimidating to some, Yulia explains that Kefir is just a big cuddle bug, often laying on top of her as she sleeps, and graciously accepting cuddles from visitors.
- "I couldn't imagine an ordinary kitten could become so big!" she told Good News Network. "He's very smart, though, and always behaves calmly."
