When art teacher Arina McAllister walked into school last week, she was met with a hallway full of sunflowers.
The beloved teacher is an immigrant from Ukraine, and, with a war going on in her home country, Arina's students and coworkers decided to shower her with positivity in the best way they knew how – through art.
🌻 Here comes the sun(flowers)... Arina was overwhelmed when she stepped out to a hallway covered with hundreds of handmade sunflowers, the national flower of Ukraine.
