Earlier this year, Anabelle Stephens ordered DoorDash.

Checking her video cam doorbell when the food arrived, she was surprised to see an elderly man struggling as he made his way up to her door.

  • By the time she made it to get her food, he was already back in the car and on his way.
  • “Honestly, it made me super sad,” Annabelle shared, “I knew if that were my grandpa, I wouldn’t want to see him working.”

Hoping to help ease his burden a bit, she tipped $30 on her $21 order.

But that was just the beginning.

It took her a while to locate the delivery driver due to company privacy policies, but Anabelle was finally able to get in touch with 71-year-old Kerry Judd, who works two jobs to support himself and his children.

Upon hearing his story, Anabelle set up a GoFundMe page for Kerry in hopes of helping guide him towards retirement.

  • While donations were at first “very, very slow,” Anabelle’s TikTok videos started to gain traction, and soon enough “[the donations] just skyrocketed.”

In only a few weeks, people from around the globe have raised over $100,000 for the humble Kerry.

Anabelle has been blown away.

  • “I can’t begin to describe the amount of support from across the world! This is beyond words and beyond what I could ever imagine!” Anabelle wrote. “This is life changing for Kerry and that is ALL from you guys!!!”

🤝 🤗 The happy ending... The two finally met for dinner where Anabelle was able to share the good news with Kerry in hopes of relieving some financial his burden.

  • "Thank you all so much for the help!" reads a message on Kerry's GoFundMe page. "It was a wild rollercoaster of emotions and I couldn’t be more grateful for every single one of you! ❤️❤️❤️"
