Sister, Sister

Siblings either drive you crazy or become your built-in best friends. Most of the time, it’s both.😉

Michele Dugan and Trish Morgan-Tilley both grew up with brothers. At 51 years old, they never dreamed they could have a sister out there all along.

But boy, were they wrong.

☯️ One side of the story... Michele and her brother spent years in foster care after her single mother could not care for them. 

• Adopted by a loving family at seven years old, Michele never put much thought towards her biological relatives until three years ago when she signed up for Ancestry.com. 
• The Las Vegas real estate agent knew it was a long shot that she would find any relatives after so many years separated from her biological family. So she was understandably shocked when a match for a possible sister came up on the screen... and she lived in the same Nevada town. 

☯️ The other side... Trish Morgan-Tilley grew up with both parents in the picture; she had no idea her half-sister Michele even existed. When she received the possible sibling match, she was partially through real estate school in hopes of achieving her license.

• The two nervously met for coffee and were shocked at their uncanny resemblance and general similarities.

👯‍♀️ That sibling connection... To start, both women had chosen a career in real estate. They also had sons the exact same age who graduated from the same high school on the same day. Michele and Trish were both at the commencement ceremony, just on separate sides of the auditorium.😳

So as you can imagine, the sisters' bond was instant... and after realizing they worked within the same industry, the two decided to take things a step further and start working together. 

• “When I met my sister and found out that she has been in real estate for over 25 years, I knew that we were destined to meet and work together,” Trish shared. “She immediately took me under her wing, I got my license, and we became Sisters Selling Vegas.”

🙏🏼 What a win... Now, Trish and Michele sell homes together for a living and love every second.

• “I thank God for bringing us together finally, I could not imagine my life if I did not get to know her and am even more thankful that we hit it off the way we did,” said a grateful Michele. “It’s just like we’ve known each other our entire life, not missing anything from day one.”
