🪶🔍 Got games on that phone??

☝️ Kevin the emu was recently spotted wandering around town by residents in Parkersburg, West Virginia. 

The large flightless bird is not native to the States, so many residents were confused about how exactly he ended up cruising the suburbs for over a week.

🪶 An unexpected visitor... One evening, Christy Braham and her husband were outside doing yard work when they suddenly spotted the emu.

• She described the peculiar sighting: “… [my husband] saw a neighbor stop by at the end of the road down here and was looking up and didn’t know what he was looking at, and then he turned around and there was an emu right in our yard.” 

The couple called 911, and local authorities safely captured the friendly bird. 

❓ Enigmatic emu: Kevin is very calm and outgoing according to his new foster dad, but the mystery remains who he belongs to or how exactly he ended up in Parkersburg.
