I got you, babe

Rick and Jan Dorothy always loved their daily walks together. They were a sacred time for the couple, and gave the duo "daily time to reflect on things and plan each day." So when Jan was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and began to lose function in her legs, the couple was understandable devastated. 

🛺 🔨 Making it (wood)work... Rick dedicated himself to making the most of the situation. A talented woodworker, he designed and built a custom rickshaw for his wife to continue their walks together. 

• "Even Jan questioned my sanity," he said of the quirky build. "I was not exactly a spring chicken, and the idea of me pulling her around in some wooden thing was sketchy at best."
• Luckily the rickshaw was a success and comfortable for both Jan to ride in and Rick to pull along. Walks, consider yourself continued!
