Find your center. Be the ball, Marlo

Charles Jefferson was walking Marlo, his Cavapoo, when the pooch sauntered out of the bushes with a small white ball in his mouth. 

🔎 Golf balls, ftw... It didn't take long for Charles to realize his doggo's find wasn't by chance. The pair was close to the local golf course, and Marlo proved himself to be quite the caddy, fetching golf ball after golf ball as the walk continued.

• Fast-forward five years. Marlo has collected more than 6,000 golf balls left behind by players, cleaning up the course and growing his dad's ball collection in the meantime. 

💬 What he's saying: “I partly see it as a bit of a service, picking up a lot of litter, and it’s partly for myself," said Charles. "I’m never going to buy a golf ball again.”
