⬆️ This little cutie is Max, an English springer spaniel from Australia currently employed in a very important line of work: sniffing out koala poop.
🐨💩The nose knows... Max works for the conservation detection dog agency Canines for Wildlife, which has been tasked with tracking koala populations as they move around Australia.
By tracking the animals' scat, Max and his handlers can estimate the number of koalas in the area, as well as assess their general health and whether the population is carrying chlamydia or other diseases.
And while many would find the job – to be brutally honest – quite revolting, it never transforms the little brown-and-white fluffball into Mad Max. Rather, he loves every second of his work.
