🏍🐶 Barks for bikes

💭 Picture this: you're taking a road trip through the California coast, enjoying all the sights along the way. 

You look out your window, and suddenly you see a motorcyclist zip past with an unusual passenger: a German shepherd, perched on the back of the bike wearing her own goggles and a "copilot" moniker. 

That doggo would be Moxie, a 74-pound lovable creature currently traveling the globe with her owner Jess Stone.

• The duo, along with Jess' husband Greg, have been on the road since last March, biking throughout Central, North, and South America. They're on a mission to travel the whole world.

🐾 Let's rewind... The story started when Jess and Greg were living in Guatemala a few years ago, and decided to get a dog.

• "She picked me 100%," Jess said of the moment she spotted Moxie in a litter of puppies they were looking at. "She was there at my heels just waiting for me to love her."
• The couple were dedicated bikers, and knew a dog may complicate things. But after working with a developer in Guatamala they created Moxie's one-of-a-kind "K9 Moto Cockpit," which lets her sit comfortably on the back of Jess' bike. 

🏍 Let's ride: Moxie took to riding in a matter of days. And the rest is history...

💗 Ride for a cause... For their current ride, Jess partnered with the global nonprofit Girl Up, a female-centered leadership development initiative, to launch GoRUFFly Around the World. Jess and Moxie are riding to raise $100,000 for Girl Up's global empowerment projects.

• The duo stops at Girl Up events along the way to speak to young girls about leadership and drive, hoping to inspire the younger generation to believe they can set big goals – and then go achieve them.
