Finding affordable and reliable healthcare is a struggle for families across the US.

That's why, when Little Sprouts Learning Center in Warren, Minnesota announced they might have to close due to increasing rent prices and labor shortages, the community rallied to save them.

Quick Thinking... Mom and daycare client Lindsey Buegler worked with city administrator Shannon Mortenson to save the school. The women proposed a half-percent increase for the next 20 years to keep the childcare center in town.

Put your money where your mouth is... The tax increase has not only kept Little Sprouts open, but also aided the center in expanding and getting brand new learning materials and supplies.

  •  “We don’t want to be worrying about our children or waking up every morning, ‘Will we have daycare? Will we not have daycare?’ And so it’s just really so important for young families, especially families who don’t have family in the area."
