❤️ Paying it forward... More than 40 years ago, Arlene Olvey started volunteering at La Cache, a volunteer-run consignment store that donates its profits to the Children's Hospital of Colorado.
The loving mom started volunteering to honor her son, who was treated at the hospital as a young child.
- "I made a pact with God that day," she shared of the day her son underwent intestinal surgery. "'If you let this boy live, I'll do something nice for this hospital,' and that's why I started volunteering."
- Now 100 years old, the centenarian has no plans of stopping any time soon.
