The annual Snail Racing World Championship is back – and better than ever.
😮🐌 Wait, that's a thing?... The yearly competition started in Congham, UK, in the 1960s after founder Tom Elwes first witnessed a snail racing event in France.
- The race has been held every year since, with the exception of 2020 (due to Covid). It recently won a Guinness World Record as the longest running humane snail-racing world championships.
