🤿🐴 Furry Friends Friday: Fancy a swim?

The 98th annual Chincoteague Pony Swim took place this week off the coast of Virginia.
🤔 Wait... the what? The nearly century-old tradition consists of hundreds of ponies swimming the channel between Assateague Island and Chincoteague Island, where they're then paraded through town and auctioned.
- "The ponies were the stars of the show as thousands of people, young and old, rookies and veterans, gathered along the crab infested marshland to wave a happy hello to the famed [ponies]," read a live update in the Salisbury Daily Times of the event.
🐴 Supporting your neighhhbors... The event doesn't only help control the wild pony population in the area, but it also serves a fundraiser for the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company, which cares for the wild horses year round.
