The goodest mayor in all the West

This is Mayor Max III, a third-generation golden retriever serving as mayor of the unincorporated southern California mountain town Idyllwild.
🐾 All in a day's work... Mayor Max III is a busy boy, making daily public appearances in the center of town while also visiting hospitals, schools, and nursing homes regularly to bring some love to those who need it.
- And, unlike most mayors, he's quite popular with the townsfolk. His first birthday party was recently attended by 1,000 guests.
❤️ The world needs more dogs. “He has around 3,000 ties,” Max's owner shared. “He ate three of them during his first month in office.” She continued, “I want to remind people that there is good in the world. Every day, people do good things... These dogs here, they are living angels, and they love you with all their heart.”
