🀨 Do the crime... Over eight months ago, astronaut Frank Rubio, a former member of the International Space Station crew who's now back on Earth, lost a tomato.

The rest of the astronaut team has jokingly accused him for the better part of a year of eating the tomato, which was one of the first ever to be grown in space.

Months after the crop disappeared, however, it was found within the space station.

  • "Our good friend Frank Rubio, who headed home [already], has been blamed for quite a while for eating the tomato," said fellow astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli. "But we can exonerate him. We found the tomato."

πŸ… Pay the time: While Frank returned back to Earth in September, he has found solace knowing that his name has been cleared from the case of the missing produce.

  • "I spent so many hours looking for that thing," Frank said. "I'm sure the desiccated tomato will show up at some point and vindicate me, years in the future."
