🥳 Happy birthday, Edie!

For the last 16 years, the town of Willits, California, has thrown resident Edith “Edie” Recagno Keenan Ceccarelli a birthday party.
Edie has spent her whole life living in the small town, and, as the second oldest person on record in the world, the community is proud to celebrate her.
🎁 A yearly celebration... The Willits community started throwing Edie a birthday celebration for her 100th. 16 years later, it's become an annual town tradition.
- Each year, Edie's birthday celebration consists of morning desserts around 11:30 am, followed by a nap before the afternoon parade in her honor.
- According to The US Sun, the birthday girl is known for her sense of fashion as well as her love for dancing, cooking, and walks.
