👆 You're looking at Fred Allen Smalls, the newest graduate of Georgetown High School in South Carolina.
🎓 It's never too late... The 106-year-old was born in the Plantersville area of Georgetown County. He went to school through eighth grade, then decided to join the tobacco business.
- Fred worked as a janitor for years before eventually finding his lifelong job in the District of Columbia, then retiring in the 1960s.
- And, thanks to the help of his granddaughter, he was granted an honorary diploma last weekend.
