🤗 Sometimes you just need a hug

Since 2010, the Provincial Maternity Hospital of Córdoba, located in Argentina, has implemented a volunteer hugger program for babies in need.

• Each volunteer hugger is paired with a premature infant in the NICU for two hours at a time, assisting with the neurodevelopment of the baby while the mother is unable to be there for various reasons. 
• On top of the 50 certified volunteers, there are more than 200 people on the waiting list to become a hugger.
