👟 Shaq gives shoes

"I’m a single mother of my gentle giant – 6’5’’, 380 lb – son," reads a GoFundMe page that was published in February.

The backstory: Tamika, a single mom, was in desperate need of shoes for her son Jor'el Bolden, who had grown out of typical shoe sizes. 

• The 16-year-old is a size 23 (typical shoe sizes stop at size 22), and custom shoes to fit him are priced at around $1,500. 

🦸 Shaq to the rescue: As donations came pouring into the GoFundMe page, NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal found Jor'el's story and personally sent him three boxes filled with new shoes, new clothes, and even some items from his own closet. The GoFundMe money will now be used to eventually buy Jor'el size 24s once he grows out of the ones Shaq sent.
