A copy of Action Comics No. 1, the 1938 comic that introduced Superman to the world, just sold for an, ahem, supersized $6 million at auction. 

  • According to UPI, the comic book was inspected by collectible-grading service CGC and received a grade of 8.5/10, making it the third-highest graded copy of the 100 Action Comics No. 1 left in the world.
