Taquería El Califa de León is a tiny, no-frills taco shop located in the San Rafael neighborhood of Mexico City.
And it just became the first Mexican taco stand to earn a coveted Michelin star.
🌮 Their secret? It's in the simplicity, chef Arturo Rivera Martínez shared with the Associated Press. “It has only a tortilla, red or green sauce, and that’s it. That, and the quality of the meat.”
- The taco shop only measures about 10-feet by 10-feet, and has been around for 50+ years.
