🐱 He's all ears

Meet Audio, a kitten who arrived at True Rescue animal shelter in Mount Juliet, Tennesee, two weeks ago. 

👂 The name is fitting for the super-hearing cat. Audio was brought to the shelter abandoned in a box with his three siblings, and rescuers first thought he had some sort of ear infection. Upon closer inspection, however, they realized he actually had four ears – two normal ones and two smaller ones growing backwards inside the others. 

• The additional ears shouldn't pose any health concerns as Audio grows up. The rescue said the kitten is around eight weeks old, weighs 2 lbs, and is "simply ear-resistible."
