It's not just human residents who have needed help since Hurricane Helene swept through the US Southeast in September. The natural disaster also took a toll on Florida’s beloved manatees, leaving countless “sea cows” stranded throughout the state in streets, fields, and ponds.
🌊 The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has rescued several of the 1,000+-lb "sea potatoes" in a team effort following the storm.
