Here comes the sun...fish

🐠 How do you cheer up a lonely fish? Employees at the Kaikyokan Aquarium in Shimonoseki, Japan, were faced with this tricky question earlier this month, after their sunfish became sick and depressed when the aquarium closed for renovations.

After trying many things to remedy the fish, one employee took a long shot and suggested that maybe the fish was simply lonely. Turns out, they were completely right.

Cardboard cutouts of people’s faces with aquarium uniforms were placed by the glass – and the sunfish perked up overnight and began eating again. All he needed was a little company❤️.
