🧱 Queens-born truck driver Joe Macken has spent the past two decades building New York City from the ground up… just on a slightly smaller scale.
After starting with a replica of 30 Rock in his basement in 2004, the 63-year-old eventually expanded his handmade model to a whopping 50 feet by 27 feet, using Google Earth to help recreate the city in painstaking detail.
Joe’s piece, which took 21 years and ~$20,000 in supplies, is currently on display at the Museum of the City of New York.
