👍 I support it (25%) – "People interfering with an active police investigation put all parties at risk. In what's often a high-stress and tension-filled scenario, someone shoving a camera in your face is only going to lead to more tension and possible confrontation."

• "There’s no reason to have civilians shoving phones in the face of officers trying to do their job. They’re already undertrained so it’s important to provide the least stressful environment for them to handle situations."

👎 I oppose it (65%) – "There have been too many instances where police reports contradict filming. Until there's legislation that impacts police training and de-escalating situations without lethal force, we need footage to ensure justice is served on both sides of the law."

• "I believe law enforcement is held accountable for their actions due to the public filming these interactions. We didn't know what happened to George Floyd until the video came out. Unfortunately, police can't always be trusted to report their interactions truthfully."
