Do you think Congress should pass the proposed reforms to the Electoral Count Act?

Yes (65%) – "The system has not worked properly for years – the Jan. 6 insurrection was the final straw. Now more than ever, people are losing faith in our government."

  •  "It seems as though this act wouldn’t change much, but simply fortify the election process to keep history from repeating itself."

No (17%) – "Once again, the government is trying to take away state powers. Should fraud be deemed a possibility, states should be able to withhold certification."

  • "Congress isn't smart enough to pass laws that impact their chances of being elected without creating more problems than they solve."

Unsure/other (18%) – "I genuinely do like the idea, and it appears to be a step forward, but let’s be honest – do you trust politicians at the end of the day? Politics has gotten so filled with drama and lies as of late."
