How do you want your state to handle abortion?

👍 Establish or expand abortion rights (49%) – "A person's right to decide what happens to their own body should be one of the first guaranteed, unarguable rights. We can't make decisions for another person in any other aspect." 

• "I don’t agree with abortions. Morally and philosophically, I believe they're wrong. That said, it seems asinine that female reproductive rights have any place in public policy. Women deserve bodily autonomy, and nobody else should have a hand in that."

👎 Ban most or all abortions (22%) – "A fetus is a unborn child. I see no other way around it. It will be a heavy burden on our society to care for these children and mothers there will now be many births that would have not been previously, but I see it as an evil to relieve the burden through abortion."

• "Except in the case of rape, incest, or the health of the mother, I believe women should take responsibility for their sexual choices, which includes the life that may result from those choices."

👋 Something in the middle (18%) – "Political parties have made this an all or nothing issue. Most people are somewhere in the middle. I think we should take the definition of when you lose your human rights (no heart beat and no brain wave activity) and use that as the start of life. Brain activity starts in week 8 of pregancy."

🤷‍♀️ Unsure/other (11%) – "There are many steps that need to be taken to support women, pregnant mothers, parents of small children, etc before a ban on abortion should even be discussed."
