☀️ Length of trip: 5 days

💬 Quick recap: We had the best time at Schlitterbahn and floating the Comal. We went to Schlitterbahn on Thursday and got the splash passes, rode everything multiple times. Saturday we floated the comal and went to The Float In and they were wonderful. Went to Whitewater Music Amphitheater for Parker McCollum concert. Shopped in San Marcos at the outlets. It was perfect!

🤔 Anything you wish you would’ve known?... The Comal is a constant water level so drought doesn’t affect it. There is a can ban in the city limits so no plastic or disposable anything. We got a cabana at Schlitterbahn and it wasn’t worth the cost.

😍 MUST dos: Schlitterbahn, Rudy’s BBQ, floating a river

🙅‍♀️ Must don’ts: I’d say skip the Whitewater Music Amphitheater unless you get there super early. It was a long walk to the gates and parking was scary on the side of the road.

EXPENSES

✈️🚗🚆 Transportation: We drove so gas was probably 600$

🏨⛺🏠 Lodging: We stayed in a VRBO on the river and it was $2500

🏰⛷️🎫 Activities: Schlitterbahn was $1500 for 8 with cabana rental and splash passes, concert was $300, float in was $300 for wristbands and tube rental.

🍔🍕🥗 Food: Rudy’s BBQ, groceries to cook out, taco cabana – $600 all-in.
