📈 Inflation (25%) – "You have to take care of basic needs before you can worry about other things. Many families are or have become food insecure in the past few years. This needs to be addressed so that we can move on to other issues."
🚨 Violent crime (12%) – "The root cause of violent crime is that we aren’t holding people accountable to their actions anymore. It shows up everywhere in today’s society: internet trolling, lack of civility, political spin (lies), media bias (both ways), but with crime being the most obvious. It’s not time to get tough on just crime, it’s time to start raising our bar and holding people to decent standards and expectations. Enough is enough."
🌎 Climate change (13%) – "Inflation hits everyone in the pocketbook, but let's be honest we've enjoyed pretty favorable economics in this country for a long time. Climate change in the other hand if unchecked will do a lot more damage than make us frown when we pay at the gas station. It's time we wake up and have some perspective."
🏫 School quality/education (16%) – "Education is the basis of our society. Without a quality education, we will have a population of people who cannot think critically, which makes a huge impact on their decision making skills."
🏥 Health care affordability (11%) – "As a 'first-world' and 'leading' country we should be making health care readily available for all."
✊🏿 Inequality (10%) – "It's hard to distinguish between the other options given, because each one affects quality of life. However inequality between classes, races, gender, age, etc effects every single other category listed. If we could work on solving inequality issues then all of the other categories would also improve."
🇺🇸 Other (13%) – "We have a lack of quality leadership to unify our country. The specific problems you mention can be solved. To do so we must work together. We don’t have to all agree, but we have to be willing to compromise for the good of all. It all starts with leadership willing to do the same."
