Do you agree with FIFA’s decision to host the World Cup in Qatar?

👍 Yes (13%) – "I think Qatar deserves a fair shot at proving it can host the World Cup in a manner that's agreeable to other nations. If it fails, then we've learned our lesson and won't do it again."

👎 No (66%) – "There are too many restrictions due to the location, problematical for women as well as LGBGT people. Fans will have to be very careful not to offend. What about alcohol? Will it be offered? Also problematic. Lots of variables which may lead to issues with foreign visitors."

• "I think that it’s ridiculous they would host the World Cup their and allow so many ppl to enrich a country that will just spend the funds on ways to continuing withholding rights from their citizens. I would never spend my money in a country like that. If a country hasn't given its people the basic human rights they deserve, I will not travel there."

There are countries out there with ethics and governments much different than ours and it's easy to sit in our very safe American bubble and point fingers at all the perceived wrong and injustice in the world without doing anything to change it. So yeah, if FIFA wants to hold the World Cup there knowing all they know, go for it. And if you don't like it, don't watch."
