How do you feel about the DHS’ updates to its use-of-force policy?

👍 Strongly agree (41%) – "I think America needs new ways of policing the police, and this policy is one way of doing that. This new guideline, as well as an updated training program, is how we can prevent cases like George Floyd."

• "I believe these updates are needed in order to create a more humane policing force, as well as to also limit abuses of power."

📈 Agree/Somewhat agree (20%) – "I fully agree with the chokehold ban in non-life-threatening situations but I don't agree with the the narrowed restrictions on no-knock warrants. There's already red tape around the warrant process; a warrant needs to be granted by a judge so it's not like these agents can knock down doors for search and seizure whenever they feel like it with no warning."

🤷 Unsure/other: (12%) – "If you are not in a situation it is easy to tell the other person what to do. Yes, some changes need to be made. But mere change for the sake of change makes an officer's job harder and further endangers the lives of police officers."

📉 Disagree/Somewhat disagree (16%) – "These men and women put their lives on the line every day to protect us.We need to give them the tools to do their jobs, not focus on taking those tools away."

👎 No (11%) – "The DEA have enough to deal with because of our open borders and pro-criminal administration. Our country is facing an invasion of people and drugs over the border, and our law enforcement is being made weaker instead of stronger."
