Do you agree with Gov. DeSantis’ attempts to strip Disney of its governing powers in Florida?

👍 Yes (30%) – "Disney is a corporation that was granted special privileges not granted to other businesses. It’s time for a more level playing field. Also, for the company to threaten to “turn their lobbyists loose” should be a red flag to all of us who want to see an end to corporate bullying."

• "I'm sure the agreement in 1967 was a great way to appeal to Disney World setting up house, but that house should now be treated like everyone else. You can argue that Disney does benefit those outside of the "World" by bringing in tourist dollars, but other attractions help bring that tourist money, too, and those businesss still follow the rules."

👎 No (63%) – "We have bigger issues to deal with (poverty, homelessness, mental health, guns, children being killed in schools, censorship based on religious ideals, and the list goes on) then some petty vendetta because of Gov Desantis’s bruised ego."

• "DeSantis is only going after Disney to silence them and bully them into following his beliefs, or the beliefs he thinks will get him the most votes. This is not what capitalism or freedom of speech is about."
