👍 Yes (43%) – "Perhaps war will be the wrong word for the conflicts. Border conflicts will happen, as they happen on earth. There are always people who want to push the limits, and they will provoke violence or sabotage. Some of those will cause fatalities."

• "I think a conflict is unavoidable due to nationalism and competition. All the countries want to be better than another so it's likely that they would hide stuff from each other which would lead to tension between different bases. Although I wish I could believe everyone will get along, I can't ignore the history of political propaganda and foreign policies set to shun other countries."
• "I'm not sure how many years it took the European powers who landed on the shores of the new world to start fighting amongst themselves. But take that number and double it. Three decades before the first moon fight seems about right."

👎 No (36%) – "This is simply a repetition of the space race during the Cold War. The US has been gunning to antagonize China with talk of “spy balloons” and TikTok data mining, so it’s safe to say we’re approaching another Cold War—but that doesn’t mean we’re suddenly going to start killing each other in space. This new space race is about proving who has the better scientists and technology."

• "Unless they start sending the actual military up there, I doubt it. Most astronauts aren't in that business. However, the propaganda will be next level for sure, especially if someone actually makes it to the moon and truly starts building anything."
