Do the ongoing criminal cases against Donald Trump impact whether you’ll vote for him in the 2024 primaries or presidential election?

👍 Yes (42%) – "I could almost have been persuaded to vote for him if he was the only way to get Biden out of office (and into a retirement home). But no way am I going to vote for someone with 4 court cases and 91 felony charges."

  • "As a conservative independent voter, I long for the time when both candidates are persons of noteworthy values and upstanding character. Wouldn't it be something to have candidates for whom we wish to vote, rather than distastefully casting a vote to keep a reprehensible individual out of office?"

"Because the election isn’t about the man but its about freedom & democracy. Trump thinks its about himself & thats more like a dictator. Its all about him & his troubles."

  • "While I believe he is being targeted politically, he is also his own worst enemy. I won't vote for him in the primary, but if he is the alternative candidate for a progressive liberal or socialist Democrat candidate, I would vote for a turkey baster over the Dem."

👎 No (51%) – "Never Trumper here - In my heart and soul I want nothing more than "this time" to be the one that wakes up the Republican party to the deceit that Trump embodies, yet fear Trump could actually get away with murder and not one GDP member would bat an eye. Truly terrifying."

  • "Clearly there is a segment of the population comfortable with using the US Justice system in the same way the Nazi party did in order to achieve their political goals."

"I'll give up my voters registration before I vote for Trump but that hasn't changed since the first time he ran and I thought it had to be a joke. However, these constantly growing charges seem to only be growing his popularity among his base. He says he will rule from his jail cell - which apparently is legal - and I think he probably will."

  • "It won't affect my vote at all, he'll have it. The fact of the matter is, our political party system is messed up. Let me emphasize that I'd love nothing more than to vote for another candidate but I don't align ethically or policy-wise with any Democratic candidates and I'm not going to throw my vote away on an independent or another no-name Republican who will likely lose. It's all a game of odds and I want the odds to come out in favor of not having another Democrat in the presidential seat in 2024."

"I have never even considered voting for him so these indictments make no difference to me. He is one of the main reasons that there is such polarization around politics in this country and for the revival of outward racism and sexism. I find him abhorrent and hope he, his ego and his entourage all receive jail time."

  • "Massive effort to prevent Trump from being able to run for a second term as president by a coordinated collection of swamp progressives, democrats, liberals (and republicans), using DOJ, FBI, CIA, and state agencies (democrat prosecutors). What a shame!!!"

🤷 Unsure/other (7%) – "I would not vote for him because of his constant use of vitriolic speech and his basic lack of morality. Since these indictments are simply consequences of those attributes,I don’t know whether they would alter the likelihood of ever voting for him."
