👍 Yes (30%) – "There is plenty of evidence that puts the President in questionable positions to be involved. We shouldn't think about it as tit for tat, but as a means to try to keep the most important position in our country from people who feel they can dodge the law."

• "Unfortunately, partisan Democrats lowered the bar so low on impeachment inquiries, that most likely any President going forward will likely have to deal with this."

"Our society has a history of launching investigations into people they don't like or don't agree with. It's time we start investigating ALL claims of political wrongdoing, regardless of who they might be targeting. Presidents and Vice Presidents are held to a different standard while holding office and I would expect that Biden is fully cooperative of all of the investigative efforts if he truly had no involvement. The needs of the many (the country) outweighs the needs of the few (the Biden family) and Biden's loyalty as President should be to the country while he holds office."

👎 No (56%) – "This appears to be motivated by political rather than legal motivation. There has been no evidence of illegal activities by Joe Biden (and I am of the opinion that if someone has done something to break the law, regardless of political affiliation, the consequences are consistent) - instead, too many lawmakers are wasting time with smoke and mirrors instead of doing the hard work of problem-solving the issues that are mounting up here in the US."

• "The current Republicans are simply trying to show that there is corruption on both sides and are trying to pick an obvious, if seemingly innocent, target to do so in hopes that they look like "the good guys" to their base again."

"To be honest, I am not President Biden's biggest fan. I question if he even has the mental capacity to do the job. Not that he's stupid, but that he may be suffering from dementia. That being said, I just don't see where the Republicans are coming from on this. A man isn't responsible for the bad acts of his son, and you can't impeach the president because Hunter is a grade A sleazy businessman."

They are doing this not out of concern for the well being of the country, but petty revenge because Trump got impeached twice. I don't know what they expect to happen when the Democrats couldn't even remove Trump twice. They have it worse because they don't have evidence that links this to Biden. Don't get me wrong if they somehow find proof of legitimate corruption with credible evidence and reasoning then I'd be on board. Till then, this is a waste of time compared to more concerning issues like inflation, housing market and rent, minimum wage, medical costs, and so much more."

But on the other hand, it's blatantly obvious that this whole ordeal is just the immature, oblivious, retaliatory, reactionary behavior from the party of perpetual children.
