What are your thoughts on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas?

"The world seems to be destablizing, which isn't something I'm thrilled to see. There's not really much else to say; the conflict is horrific. I support Israel's need to protect itself. I'm really sad about all the innocent people who have died and who will die."

• "Israel has oppressed and murdered thousands of innocent Palestinians for over 70 years, with the ultimate goal of completely taking over the land. Palestinians have no army and no way to defend themselves (except for some rocks), and the attack from Hamas was in response to this. The media doesn't cover it, but every year during the holy month of Ramadan, Israel attacks Palestinians in one way or another - completely unprovoked. Now, Israel is using this situation as a justification to kill more innocent civilians, when they are funded by the U.S. and are undoubtedly one of the greatest superpowers in the world. This is not a war - or an equal one at that - it has turned into a mere genocide and humanitarian crisis. Over 700 children have been killed and Israel has cut off all food, water, and electricity in Gaza. How is this okay?"
